Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich have set their sights on Villarreal playmaker Pablo Fornals according to El Confidencial.
The 22-year-old midfielder has been identified as a primary transfer target ahead of the January market as Bavarians look to add a creative spark in the second part of the season.
Fornals is said to be on a €26 million release clause which is a highly affordable price in today’s overinflated market.
In addition to Bayern Munich Pablo Fornals has emerged as a transfer target for the likes of West Ham, Arsenal and La Liga champions Barcelona.
The Spanish midfielder made 16 La Liga appearances this season. He scored one goal and registered one assist in the league but got 2 apiece in six Europa League matches this season.
