It is little secret that Premier League giants Liverpool are in possession of one of the most in form players in world football right now. Mohamed Salah has been nothing short of sensational this season, and his remarkable success has caught the eye of Europe’s top clubs.

The Egyptian has already been linked with moves to Catalan super club Barcelona, as well as their eternal rivals Real Madrid, but the latest team to join the race for Salah’s signature are Bayern Munich, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The winger has registered a staggering 22 goals and seven assists in 26 Premier League games this season, and has been one of the principal reasons for Liverpool’s success. The Reds currently sit third in the table, two points behind Manchester United, and have scored a whopping 61 goals in this campaign.

Bayern Munich meanwhile have a 19-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga, and thus look set to cruise to yet another title. They are however on the lookout for replacements for ageing wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, and Salah could be the perfect fit.

Having only joined Liverpool in the summer, it remains to be seen whether the Egyptian has any intention of leaving, especially as the Reds look set to progress to the quarter finals in the Champions League.
